Winters Instruments

Winters Instruments is a leading producer of industrial instrumentation and accessories, with a specific focus on temperature and pressure.  Winters was founded in 1953 as “Winters Thermogauges” by Erwin Winters in Toronto, Ontario.  By 1960, Winters was manufacturing instrumentation products for the Canadian Armed Forces and over the course of the next two decades earned a reputation in the ship building industry for their reliability and serviceability.  Winters opened their USA division in Buffalo, New York in 1991 and their engineering and manufacturing facilities in Shanghai, China in 1997.  By 1998, the Winters distribution network had grown to over 80 countries and had established itself as a global leader in instrumentation.  Over the course of the next two decades Winters would establish divisions in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and Buenos Aires, Argentina to serve Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South America more efficiently.  Winters developed the StabiliZR gauge which they launched officially in 2006.  StabiliZR gauges were designed as an alternative to liquid filled gauges where needle dampening is a requirement but the environment is too aggressive for standard glycerin.  Winters is consistently recognized as one of Canada’s best managed companies.  They offer 5-year warranties and repair services on ALL their products and are approved/certified by countless agencies.  MacroMotion became an authorized distributor of Winters Instruments in 2023, marking our official entry into industrial instrumentation.
